UHS DATA CENTER RELOCATION
A new 4,000 square foot data center was retrofitted into an existing physical therapy space at United Health Services Binghamton General Hospital Campus. The project included a computer room with two 22-rack hot aisle-cold aisle equipment enclosures. 150KVA redundant power conditioners provide power to overhead bus duct which in turn services rack mounted power distribution units. Overhead cable tray is used for category 6 patch cable and fiber optic backbone cable management. Condensate and refrigeration lines are installed in a crawl space below the equipment room and Condensing units on the roof to serve the in-row cooling units. The equipment room included two 100KVA UPS units connected with a hot tie switch. Two 250 KW generators with on board paralleling provide power to the data center. An FM 200 system provides fire protection for the facility
